About the Role

As the VP of Strategy, you will look through the periscope of our business to support the Executive team navigate and design our long-term strategies. Working alongside the Deputy CEO and a relatively new Exec team, you will centralise this function to run the Group OKR process, design high impact Board strategy away days, and own the strategic frameworks for future M&A and capability integration. This is an intensely active, high-exposure role where you will manage a small, agile team, acting as a critical facilitator who helps a visionary, founder-led leadership team place their biggest strategic bets and successfully bring them to life.

About You

  • Significant strategy experience combining a background in top-tier management consulting with substantive in-house roles, ideally at a Group or divisional level within a complex technology, hyper-scale tech, or retail business.
  • Confidence working directly with ExCo and Board-level stakeholders, possessing the high emotional intelligence and soft skills required to challenge, influence, and hold your own with a passionate, product-focused Founder-CEO.
  • A proven track record of producing high-quality Executive and Board-level strategic analysis and recommendations, backed by excellent written communication skills and the ability to distil complex analysis into clear, compelling narratives for senior audiences.
  • Strong financial modelling and commercial analysis skills, including the sharp intellectual horsepower and ability to build, interrogate, and align long-range financial models with our mid-to-long-term strategic vision.
  • Solid experience with business development and/or corporate development, including navigating risks, exploring market opportunities, and working across multi-stakeholder transaction processes to build overarching strategic frameworks for technology or capability integration.
  • Brings a strong external market bias, leveraging your own deep network, market insights, and industry trend reports to help a relatively new Executive Board place their biggest long-term bets and successfully bring them to life.
