Warehouse Assistant (Runner) - 1 Year Contract

The Warehouse Assistant (Runner) is responsible for the efficient movement of goods within the warehouse, ensuring that materials and products are delivered to the appropriate locations accurately and in a timely manner. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety and quality standards.

• Retrieve and transport materials, parts, and equipment within the warehouse and production areas as needed.
• Assist with inventory management by keeping track of stock levels and reporting any discrepancies to management.
• Support the warehouse team in organizing and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Prepare items for shipment or storage, ensuring proper packaging and labeling procedures are followed.
• Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs.
• Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and audits to maintain accuracy.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to promote a safe working environment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a warehouse or logistics role is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
