Today, we provide innovative solutions in various areas such as Fintech, Travel, HR, and Employee Benefits to more than 5.5 million users in 85,000 companies in France and Brazil.

As an Engineering Director, your role is to shape the engineering organization required to deliver business impact at scale. You combine technical strategy, people leadership and operational excellence to create the conditions for teams to make strong decisions, execute with clarity and continuously improve their engineering standards. Working closely with other Directors, the CTO and business leaders, you align technology, organization and priorities so that engineering becomes a durable lever for company performance, culture and long-term scalability.
### Your missions 🔥
  • Define and execute a technical strategy aligned with company goals, and translate it into a clear, actionable roadmap with your teams.
  • Drive large-scale architectural decisions that balance innovation with scalability, and ensure engineering best practices are known and enforced.
  • Lead, coach and grow your engineering managers, supporting them in building high-performing, well-organized teams.
  • Actively participate in recruiting top engineering talent, and foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer and user needs, and maintain a close partnership with the Product Director to align technology decisions with business impact.
  • Manage multiple complex and strategic projects simultaneously, ensuring risk management, timeline adherence, and effective resource allocation.
  • Work cross-functionally to solve problems across teams and tribes, remove organizational bottlenecks, and drive alignment at company level.
  • Champion sustainable and responsible tech practices, and represent engineering teams across departments to support the company's transformation into a tech-led organization.
  • ### Minimum Qualifications

We welcome individuals with entrepreneurial backgrounds as well as those from established organizations. At Swile, we believe that delivering impactful products requires engineers to understand the needs of users and clients as well as the code itself.
