Who we are
Atoms is building the machines that power the next era of progress.
Over the last decade, software has transformed the digital world. But the physical world, where food is made, minerals are mined, goods are moved, and industries are run, remains far less intelligent, far less efficient, and far more constrained. We’re changing that.
Atoms builds Physical AI— real-world robots for the industries that move civilization forward, starting with food, mining, and transport. Our systems are designed to understand, predict, and control the real world with precision, turning complex physical operations into something more reliable, more scalable, and more productive.
This work requires more than robotics. It requires deep integration across hardware, software, AI, operations, manufacturing, and real estate. We don’t just build machines in a lab. We deploy them into real environments, operate them, learn from them, and improve them until they work at scale.
We are roboticists, engineers, operators, and builders. We believe the next great technology companies will not only transform information, but the physical systems that shape everyday life.
If you want to work on hard problems with real-world impact, join us.
What you’ll do
- Lead global transactions: Own all M&A, strategic investments, debt and equity financings, and other complex corporate transactions from strategy through close.
- Structure and negotiate deals: Draft and negotiate term sheets, purchase agreements, and definitive and ancillary documents to land sound commercial and legal outcomes.
- Advise the business: Serve as the lead in-house attorney on acquisitions, investments, and financings, guiding business leaders and the board across the full transaction lifecycle.
- Partner with Finance: Collaborate on cash management, capital structure, corporate finance, and investor relations initiatives.
- Oversee global governance: Manage corporate governance and subsidiary structures across dozens of countries, supporting treasury and capital markets activity.
- Build and lead the team: Manage, develop, and elevate a team of corporate legal professionals, setting the bar for judgment, speed, and collaboration.
What we’re looking for
- You bring a J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- You have 10+ years of M&A and capital markets experience, built on a strong law foundation with meaningful in-house time at a high-growth company.
- You have led complex, cross-border transactions end to end, ideally including strategic investments and equity program work.
- You lead and develop teams, with a track record of building and elevating high-performing legal talent.
- You bring a practical, business-first mindset, sharp judgment, and the ability to distill complex legal concepts for non-lawyers.
- You thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and handle highly sensitive information with discretion.
