About the Position
An outpatient orthopedic clinic in Lee’s Summit is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist to support patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. The clinic provides care for a wide patient population, with ages ranging from 11 to 90.
This role is a good fit for a Physical Therapist who enjoys structured outpatient care, direct patient interaction, and teamwork with PTAs and other clinicians. The clinic uses WebPT, maintains a weekly volume of approximately 160–190 patient visits, and offers flexible schedule options.

Compensation
- $65,000–$70,000 per year for new graduate Physical Therapists
- $80,000–$90,000 per year for experienced Physical Therapists, based on years of experience
Schedule Options
Preferred Schedule: Four 10-Hour Days
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- Tuesday off each week
Alternative Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Patient Volume: 7–15 patients per day
Clinic Volume: Approximately 160–190 patient visits per week
Clinical Team: 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants
Patient Age Range: 11 to 90 years old

Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations for patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
- Identify patient goals, functional limitations, strength deficits, mobility concerns, and pain levels
- Develop individualized plans of care and update them as patients progress
- Provide physical therapy treatment, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, mobility work, balance training, and functional activities
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and safe return to daily activities
- Track outcomes and adjust interventions when clinically appropriate
- Document evaluations, daily visits, progress notes, and discharge plans in WebPT
- Collaborate with PTAs and other clinical staff to maintain quality care
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
- Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility for Missouri licensure
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Outpatient orthopedic experience is helpful, but not required
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work with patients across a broad age range and variety of conditions
