Position Description

A full-time Physical Therapist is needed in Greenwood, MO for a modern outpatient orthopedic clinic. This role is focused on treating patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions and helping them improve movement, strength, mobility, balance, and daily function.

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating patients, creating treatment plans, delivering therapy services, documenting care through WebPT, and working with a clinical team that includes Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants.

Salary Information

New graduates: $65,000–$70,000 per year
Experienced Physical Therapists: $80,000–$90,000 per year, depending on years of experience

Schedule Preference

The clinic offers flexibility and would strongly prefer either:

Four 10-Hour Days

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
• Tuesday off each week

Monday–Friday Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Clinic Volume and Patient Population

This clinic sees approximately 160–190 patient visits per week, with an average daily patient volume of 7–15 patients per provider. Patients range from 11 to 90 years old, with most visits related to orthopedic and musculoskeletal care.

The clinic serves patients covered by BCBS, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare, TRICARE, Humana, and Aetna.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and determine appropriate physical therapy needs
• Build treatment plans that reflect patient goals, clinical findings, and functional limitations
• Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, balance work, mobility support, and functional rehabilitation
• Treat orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions across a broad patient age range
• Educate patients on home programs, safe movement, and recovery expectations
• Monitor patient outcomes and update treatment plans when needed
• Complete documentation accurately in WebPT
• Coordinate with PTAs and other team members to support consistent care delivery

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy degree
• Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain Missouri licensure
• New graduates welcome
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred for experienced applicants
• Strong communication, documentation, and patient management skills
• Ability to work professionally in a busy outpatient clinic environment

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
• Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility for Missouri licensure
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Outpatient orthopedic experience is helpful, but not required
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work with patients across a broad age range and variety of conditions
