Role Summary

This full-time Physical Therapist opportunity is based in an outpatient orthopedic clinic in Raymore, MO. The position focuses on helping patients recover from orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions through evaluation, treatment planning, skilled intervention, patient education, and progress monitoring.

The clinic treats patients ages 11 to 90, offering a mix of cases involving mobility limitations, pain, weakness, post-injury recovery, balance deficits, movement restrictions, and return-to-activity goals. The clinical team includes 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants, with documentation completed through WebPT.

Compensation

New Graduate PT: $65,000–$70,000 annually
Experienced PT: $80,000–$90,000 annually, based on years of experience

Preferred Schedule

The clinic would strongly prefer one of these schedule options:

Option 1: Four 10-Hour Days

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
• Tuesday off each week

Option 2: Weekday Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Clinic Details

• Modern outpatient orthopedic setting
• Patient Volume: 7–15 patients per day
• Weekly Clinic Volume: Approximately 160–190 patient visits
• Clinical Team: 2 PTs and 2 PTAs
• EMR System: WebPT
• Patient Age Range: 11 to 90 years old
• Primary Caseload: Orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions

Responsibilities

• Complete physical therapy evaluations, reassessments, and discharge planning
• Develop treatment plans based on patient presentation, diagnosis, and functional goals
• Provide care for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
• Use therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, gait training, mobility training, and functional rehab techniques
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and activity modifications
• Review patient progress and make appropriate plan-of-care adjustments
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in WebPT
• Collaborate with PTAs and clinical staff to support patient progress

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
• Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility for Missouri licensure
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Outpatient orthopedic experience is helpful, but not required
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work with patients across a broad age range and variety of conditions
