About the Role
A well-funded, Y Combinator-backed B2B SaaS startup in the AI-powered quote and order automation space is hiring its first Product Manager. This is a high-impact founding role where you will own the what and why behind an AI-first product, working directly with the CPO and engineering team to turn customer pain points into intuitive, high-adoption solutions. You will shape core workflows, define product direction, and drive measurable time savings for customers in industrial distribution and manufacturing sectors.
What You'll Do
Own the full product development cycle from discovery through rollout, with a focus on customer adoption and efficiency gains.
Engage directly with customers to understand their problems and synthesize feedback from customers, internal teams, and the market.
Define and validate product hypotheses with customers; build rapid prototypes to test ideas quickly.
Translate customer insights into clear requirements and intuitive, AI-first product experiences designed for non-technical users.
Prioritize, scope, and ship new features in close collaboration with engineering and design.
Create and maintain product documentation, release notes, and training content to help customers get maximum value from new features.
Make complex B2B workflows effortless through thoughtful, iterative product decisions.
What We're Looking For
2–5 years of experience in product management or product design, with a strong track record delivering AI-first, complex B2B SaaS products.
Demonstrated ability to speak directly with customers and turn messy, qualitative feedback into crisp product requirements.
Proficiency with modern AI tools (e.g., Lovable, Cursor, Claude) and prototyping tools such as Figma.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment with a builder's mindset.
Familiarity with code (React, TypeScript, Python) to prototype independently or collaborate closely with engineers — a strong plus.
Domain knowledge of AI-enabled software for technical suppliers or distributors in construction, HVAC, electrical, or related industrial sectors — a plus.
Fluent in both German and English (required).
Based in Munich or willing to relocate for on-site work (required). No visa sponsorship available.
Location & Work Arrangement
This role is fully on-site in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. Candidates must be based in Munich or willing to relocate. Visa sponsorship is not available.
