About the role

We are looking for a highly analytical finance professional to join our FP&S team as Senior Manager, Revenue Financial Planning & Strategy. This role will be responsible for enabling the achievement of Checkr's revenue and gross margin goals by driving revenue financial planning, forecasting, and reporting. A critical part of any business is grasping its key revenue drivers. You'll do this by deeply analyzing historical trends, evaluating macro impacts, and leveraging AI forecast models while working side by side with our product, data, and GTM teams. The ideal candidate brings a highly quantitative, data-driven mindset and has experienced success in a dynamic, high-growth, and fast-paced environment. This candidate should also possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of senior management (including VP, SVP, and C-suite).

What you'll do

  • Build strong relationships to partner cross-functionally across product, data, and GTM teams to own the short-term and long-range revenue forecast across all products and customer segments
  • Define and measure the KPIs and incorporate those, along with other internal and external data sources, to constantly refine the accuracy of the forecasts
  • Develop and own critical revenue reporting and analytics, ensuring key issues, risks, and business drivers are understood and highlighted to management and the Board
  • Conduct in-depth analyses to enable data-driven decisions that optimize business performance toward Checkr's long-term goals
  • Identify areas of strategic growth and operational efficiency across the business and drive workstreams to execute on those initiatives
  • Help build scalable and consistent revenue planning processes toward public company readiness, enabling operational excellence in business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting

What you bring

  • Minimum of 7+ years in finance and/or data analytics; AI tooling proficiency strongly preferred
  • An expert in financial modeling and quantitative analysis, who enjoys solving complex and unstructured problems
  • Deep experience working in high-growth environments, preferably in transaction-based models
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the proven ability to synthesize complex financial information in ways others can easily understand
  • A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across different functions and effectively influence senior business partners
  • Demonstrates the Checkr core values of Grit, Humility, Transparency, Connection and Ownership
  • Prior experience in a combination of investment banking, management consulting, or private equity strongly preferred
  • An A-player mindset with a strong bias for action: you raise the bar, move with urgency, stay resilient through ambiguity, and take ownership to deliver meaningful outcomes.
