Assistant Waiter

Grecotel Hotels & Resorts, the leading hotel chain in Greece, is seeking an Assistant Waiter to join its team. As an Assistant Waiter, you will support the service team by ensuring the dining area is properly set up, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting in the delivery of food and beverages to guests. You will work closely with the Waiters to ensure smooth service, providing an exceptional dining experience for all guests. The role requires excellent teamwork, attention to detail, and a friendly, professional attitude with care by following the company’s SOPs. Responsibilities

• Assist the Waitstaff in serving food and beverages to guests
• Help in setting up and clearing tables before and after service
• Ensure that the dining area is clean, organized, and properly set
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely manner
• Support the team in maintaining high standards of service and hospitality
• Help with the preparation and presentation of food items as necessary

Requirements

• Previous experience in a food service role is preferred but not mandatory
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service
• Team-oriented approach with a willingness to assist others
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service would be an asset
• Fluency in English, knowledge of additional languages will be considered as an asset
