Posted about 16 hours ago
We are looking for a Bid & Proposals Manager to join La Fosse at an exciting stage of growth.
La Fosse is the UK’s largest employee-owned technology talent services partner. We help organisations access, develop and deploy the technology talent they need to deliver transformation, while giving our people a genuine stake in the success of the business.
As we continue to scale our Recruitment, Solutions and Consulting service areas, we are looking for someone who can help shape the way we respond to complex commercial opportunities and bring real quality, structure and commercial impact to our bid and proposal output.
This is not a traditional back office bid role.
You will work closely with sales, solutions, delivery and senior stakeholders to create compelling proposals that help us win. You will support opportunities across recruitment, managed service, Capability as a Service, Statement of Work and consulting propositions, turning complex client requirements into clear, persuasive and commercially credible responses.
You will play a visible role in the sales process, supporting discovery conversations, bid responses, client presentations and shortlist pitches. You will also help build the tools, content and processes that make our commercial teams more confident when positioning our broader solutions portfolio.
What you’ll be doing
You will be responsible for producing high quality bid and proposal content across a varied portfolio of opportunities.
This will include:
- Leading responses to RFPs, RFIs and ITTs
- Writing clear, compelling and commercially sharp proposals
- Managing bid timelines and coordinating input from internal stakeholders
- Creating pitch decks and presentation materials for shortlisted opportunities
- Supporting managed service, Capability as a Service, SOW and consulting proposals
- Translating service design, governance, delivery models and commercials into client friendly narratives
- Building and maintaining a strong bid content library, including case studies, capability statements and reusable response content
- Creating practical sales enablement tools such as battle cards, solution summaries and qualification frameworks
- Supporting client facing activity, including discovery sessions, bid Q&A and shortlist presentations
- Helping improve bid process, quality, win rate tracking and lessons learned
Requirements
What we’re looking for
We are looking for someone with strong bid, proposal or commercial writing experience in a complex B2B environment.
You may have worked in recruitment, managed service, consulting, professional services, technology services or workforce solutions. What matters most is that you can take complex information and turn it into clear, persuasive and commercially credible content.
You will likely bring:
- Experience owning or supporting bids, proposals, RFPs, RFIs, ITTs or formal commercial responses
- Excellent writing skills and strong attention to detail
- The ability to translate complex services into simple, compelling client facing narratives
- Strong stakeholder management skills across sales, delivery, operations, finance and leadership teams
- Good commercial judgement and the confidence to challenge when needed
- The ability to work at pace without compromising quality
- Confidence supporting client facing conversations and presentations
- Experience with managed service, SOW, consulting or workforce solutions would be highly valuable
- An interest in using AI, automation or bid tools to improve quality and efficiency
Benefits
Why this role?
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to have a real commercial impact, not just manage submissions.
You will help shape a growing bid and proposals capability, work closely with senior leaders and play a direct role in helping La Fosse win more of the right work. You will also join an employee owned business where the value you help create directly benefits the people building it.
