The Product Admin team owns the core commerce platforms and operational systems that enable our brands to scale efficiently. The team is responsible for the infrastructure that powers the order lifecycle, internal operations, and critical commerce capabilities across our portfolio of brands. Our mission is to simplify complexity at scale, enabling faster execution, greater operational efficiency, and seamless customer experiences.
What you’ll be doing:
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the Commerce Core domain, owning the platforms and operational infrastructure that power the entire customer journey and order lifecycle from catalog and checkout to fulfillment, customer support, and post-purchase experiences. This is a strategic, highly cross-functional role focused on building scalable internal systems and complex commerce capabilities that sit at the core of the business. You will drive product strategy, prioritization, and execution across high-scale platforms with direct business impact, partnering closely with Engineering, Data, Operations, CS, Growth, and Marketing teams. This is a unique opportunity to shape how our business scales its commerce platform and internal operations, while continuously improving business efficiency, operational excellence, and the end-to-end customer experience.
Roles & responsibilities:
- Lead the product core commerce platform, from vision to execution, while driving scalable solutions with direct business impact
- Own the commerce domain end-to-end, including product catalog, cart and pricing logic, checkout flows, payment integrations, and order lifecycle management
- Shape the next generation of the Commerce domain:
- Build the foundations for AI-driven and automated commerce experiences
- Enable flexible commerce capabilities through APIs, Agentic shopping experience, and scalable platform architecture
- Help position Resident for the evolving ecommerce landscape, where AI agents, automation, and personalization become an integral part of the buying journey
- Build and scale internal commerce platforms and tools that support operational efficiency and business growth across Growth, Marketing, Operations, Customer Support, and Data teams
- Partner closely with Engineering and Data teams on system architecture, integrations, scalability, api contracts, and operational infrastructure
- Translate complex operational and business needs into scalable systems, workflows, and product capabilities
- Lead cross-functional initiatives across multiple stakeholders, balancing competing business needs and driving alignment across the organization
- Plan and manage engineering sprints to deliver greater value to the customer and the company.
- Define the scope for both features and initiatives, clearly articulating the rationale behind decisions.
- Identify opportunities to leverage automation and AI-driven operational tools and emerging agentic tools
- Continuously improve the scalability, operational efficiency, and customer experience enabled by Resident’s commerce ecosystem
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Product Management experience, with proven end-to-end ownership of complex ecommerce or platform products
- Deep experience with end-to-end ecommerce customer journeys, including catalog, cart, checkout, payments, fulfillment, order lifecycle, and post-purchase experiences
- Proven experience building and scaling complex internal platforms, operational systems, and business-critical processes in high-scale environments
- Strong ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, balance competing business needs, and drive prioritization across multiple stakeholders and teams
- Strong product and systems thinking, with the ability to translate operational complexity into scalable product solutions
- Experience with AI - a must, experience with agentic commerce - major plus
- Experience partnering closely with Engineering and Data teams on system architecture, integrations, scalability, and data-driven products
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing leadership and driving alignment across the organization
- Highly analytical and metrics-driven, with experience defining KPIs, measuring impact, and driving continuous optimization
- Proficiency in English with experience working across global teams
- Experience with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or custom commerce infrastructures - major plus
