Who we are looking for
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting and finance functions and the month-end close process. The position requires a highly motivated, “roll-up your sleeves” professional for Re:Build Manufacturing Headquarters based out of Framingham, MA. The primary responsibility will focus on accounts payable, employee expense reimbursements, intercompany transactions and daily cash reconciliations. This is a very hands-on role and one where in addition to standard daily tasks, there will be special projects to assist with or manage.
What you get to do
- Receive, verify, and process AP invoices using Ramp
- Process employee expense reports, review for accuracy of coding, verify approval and in line with policy using Ramp
- Vendor setup & maintenance
- Support weekly payment runs
- Daily Cash Reconciliation
- Support the month-end close
- Prepare 1099s at year-end and obtain W-9s as needed.
- Complete ad-hoc projects as assigned
What you bring to the Team
- 4+ years of overall accounting experience
- 4-year Undergraduate Degree, preferably in accounting
