Lake Olympia Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Hospital Manager to help lead our well-established, multi-doctor practice in Missouri City, Texas. In This Role, You Will:
- Lead and inspire a high-performing veterinary support team
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, learning, and exceptional client service
- Partner with veterinarians and regional leadership to achieve hospital goals
- Drive financial performance through strategic planning, budgeting, and operational excellence
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members to help them reach their full potential
- Lead recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and retention initiatives
- Analyze hospital performance metrics and implement solutions that support growth and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with employment, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee facility operations, equipment maintenance, scheduling, and workflow optimization
- Serve as a trusted leader and resource for the entire hospital team
What We're Looking For
Required Experience
- 2+ years of leadership experience in veterinary practice management, healthcare administration, or a related operational leadership role
- Proven success managing teams, budgets, and day-to-day business operations
- Experience coaching and developing employees in a fast-paced environment
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze performance metrics and drive results
Preferred Qualifications
- Multi-doctor veterinary hospital leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Human Resources, or a related field
- Experience with veterinary practice management software and KPI reporting
