That’s why we’re seeking a Senior Associate, Central Rating accountable for supporting the execution and quality oversight of Central Rating activities across assigned clinical trials, including clinician support, key initiatives, and deliverables. This role ensures central rating services, study team communication and collaboration, documentation, escalation tracking, and issue resolution are carried out accurately and in accordance with approved SOPs and study requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day Central Rating activities across assigned studies, including developing and improving workflows and supporting central raters.
  • Assist with tracking and documenting Cogstate Clinician performance data and metrics.
  • Ensure clinician training and certification documentation is accurate, current, and aligned with study service timelines.
  • Work with stakeholders, including Science and Learning, to develop and implement automated clinician training curricula.
  • Works closely with QA to develop and ensure proper documentation is maintained
  • Coordinate and maintain clinician training and recalibration schedules, and track training progress with Central Rating Management.
  • Provides technical support to clinicians, ensuring appropriate platform, device, and calendar access.
  • Deliver clinician status reports to project teams.
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with Central Rating Management, Rater Training Managers, Science, and Project Managers to meet study deliverables.
  • Work independently, adapt to study changes, and reprioritize assignments based on competing and changing study needs.
  • Mentor junior study team members and oversee their work output.
  • Support Central Rating Management activities with minimal oversight, ensuring an excellent and seamless stakeholder experience.
  • Effectively manage, track, and proactively communicate key project deliverables and risks to stakeholders while maintaining impeccable task records.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of Central Rating process improvement initiatives.
  • Triage inbound Central Rating-related questions or issues from study teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Track, document, and follow up on escalations and resolutions, escalating complex issues to leadership as appropriate. 
  • Maintain effective communication and relationships with supporting internal services and clinicians.
  • Support clinicians with onboarding and system access questions, routing them to the appropriate team members as needed.
  • Oversees and generates necessary Clinician documentation
  • Ensures Clinician contracts, CVs and certificates (if applicable) are properly stored and available for audits or inspections.
  • Assists Clinicians with troubleshooting invoicing questions and issues.
  • Ensures payment platform access, accurate Work Order creation, quality checks, and approves Clinician invoices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 3–5+ years clinical trials, central rating, or regulated research operations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
  • Understanding of SOP-driven clinical operations and documentation 
  • Audit support or metrics reporting experience

Skills, Knowledge and Specialist Expertise

  • Strong organization, communication, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Understanding of traditional neuropsychological/psychological assessment tools.
  • Understanding of clinical trials, regulatory, and legal processes.
  • Experience working cross-functionally.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral, conflict resolution, and skills in de-escalation.
  • Prior experience in central rating is desirable.

Wage Range
$75,000$85,000 USD
