We are looking for a Senior H&S Technician to work based on our Venda do Pinheiro Office
Responsibilities:
• Prepare/Implement/Update the PSS on site, in accordance with internal procedures, applicable legal requirements and client requirements;
• Drawing up PTREs whenever there is work involving special risks, particularly in terms of work at height and electrical work;
• Supporting the DO whenever necessary and collaborating with the CSO on site;
• Promoting and carrying out training/awareness-raising activities on site in accordance with the Training Plan (reception and specific training activities);
• Managing non-conformities, complaints and opportunities for improvement detected on site;
• Participating in safety audits (internal and external), defining the action plan in response to the audit report and ensuring the implementation and closure of actions;
• Ensuring the inspection and monitoring of safety protection equipment (PPE and CPE) and all machinery on site;
• Checking that the work is carried out in accordance with the PSS/PTRE and in accordance with safety requirements (legal, client's, among others), and issuing the respective periodic safety inspection reports;
• Document management of the worksite (Companies/Workers/Equipment);
• Environmental management of the site, particularly of waste produced on site;
• Participating in periodic meetings between the Site Manager and the client and collaborating in accordance with the work schedule;
Requirements
• Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety or Environmental Health (preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Occupational Health and Safety Technician;
• CAP Occupational Health and Safety Technician (level VI);
· Knowledge of DL 273/2003;
· Knowledge of Lei 102/2009 (preferred);
· Expertise in office 365 tools.
· Oral and written communication in English;
• Analytical skills and Critical thinking;
• Flexibility, resilience and good adaptability;
• Responsible and dynamic, with strong communication skills and an organized approach to work.
