Mechanical Inspector

HanmiGlobal Saudi is seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Inspector to oversee mechanical installation works and ensure conformance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. The Mechanical Inspector will be responsible for conducting inspections, identifying defects, and ensuring high-quality execution of mechanical systems on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of mechanical installations including HVAC, piping, and equipment to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor contractor work to verify adherence to quality, safety, and project requirements.
• Identify, document and report non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, prepare reports and update quality documentation.
• Participate in testing, commissioning and final acceptance of mechanical systems.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical inspection within construction or engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, codes, standards, and inspection procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and reporting abilities.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and safety regulations.
