Civil Inspector

HanmiGlobal Saudi is seeking a meticulous Civil Inspector to oversee civil construction activities and ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. The Civil Inspector will play a crucial role in maintaining high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of civil works including foundations, structural elements, roadworks, and other infrastructure components.
• Verify that construction work complies with design drawings, specifications, and relevant codes.
• Identify and report any non-conformances, defects, or safety hazards.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and site supervisors to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards on site.
• Support quality control processes and assist in testing activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years experience in civil construction inspection or quality control.
• Strong understanding of civil construction methods, materials, and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of local regulations and safety standards in Saudi Arabia is an advantage.
