Electrical Engineer - Residential Projects

Alomar Holding Company, a leading Saudi-based diversified group specializing in real estate development and property management, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team for residential projects in Riyadh. This role offers the opportunity to play a pivotal part in the successful delivery of multiple high-quality residential developments, ensuring all electrical works meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of electrical works across several active residential construction sites. This includes supervising site activities, coordinating with various trades and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and local regulations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background, hands-on site experience, and the ability to manage complex project requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising daily electrical site activities and ensuring execution aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
• Coordinating with electrical subcontractors regarding progress, manpower, materials, quality, and site readiness.
• Managing electrical works across multiple residential projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
• Preparing, reviewing, and coordinating electrical shop drawings using AutoCAD, and reviewing design drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Coordinating electrical works with other trades (civil, architectural, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, low-current, finishing) to prevent clashes and delays.
• Supervising all phases of electrical installation, including first, second, and final fix, as well as testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Overseeing residential electrical systems such as lighting, power, distribution boards, cables, conduits, earthing, low-current, smart systems, intercom, and external works.
• Identifying site issues and collaborating with the project team, subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve them efficiently.
• Monitoring quality, safety, progress, inspections, and ensuring site compliance with relevant standards.
• Preparing progress updates, site reports, quantity tracking, and material follow-up reports, and managing snag lists, testing records, as-built documentation, and handover processes.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 8+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer on residential construction projects, including hands-on site execution from rough-in through finishing, testing, commissioning, and handover
• Experience working for a contracting company in the construction sector
• Proficiency with AutoCAD for preparing and reviewing electrical shop drawings
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office (including Outlook) for reporting and tracking
• Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems, including lighting, power, distribution boards, cables, conduits, wiring, earthing, low-current systems, intercom, smart systems, and external works
• Proven ability to coordinate electrical works with other trades and subcontractors on residential projects
• Saudi Council of Engineers registration or eligibility to register

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing electrical works across multiple residential projects or sites concurrently
• Solid understanding of the full electrical construction execution workflow from rough-in to testing, commissioning, and handover
• Experience with progress tracking, site reporting, material follow-up, snag lists, testing records, and handover documentation
• Ability to follow approved drawings, shop drawings, specifications, method statements, inspection requests, and quality procedures
• Fluent or native Arabic with good working proficiency in English
• Valid driving license and ability to travel between project sites within Riyadh
• Valid KSA work authorization with transferable iqama
• Ability to join immediately or within 30 days
