Payrate: $42/hr

WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking compassionate and qualified Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to provide nursing care and support during the summer school session. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in students’ health and well-being in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide health assessments, medication administration, and emergency care for students.
• Support student health and safety throughout the school day.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and incidents.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive student care.

Requirements

• Current licensure as an RN or LPN in the state of New York.
• Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to respond effectively to medical emergencies.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
