- Create and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs, and release documentation.
- Support engineering change management activities, including impact assessments and implementation plans.
- Resolve manufacturing, assembly, commissioning, and field-related mechanical issues.
- Maintain configuration control and as-built accuracy through disciplined revision management practices.
- Lead mechanical design reviews and provide technical guidance across engineering teams.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers in engineering best practices, documentation standards, and problem-solving methodologies.
- Support development of engineering standards, design guides, reusable modules, and best practices.
- Drive root cause investigations and corrective actions for mechanical failures and quality issues.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across products and engineering processes.
- Collaborate with:
- Systems Engineering on requirements, interfaces, and verification activities
- Electrical Engineering on penetrations, cable routing, mounting schemes, and service access
- Structural Engineering on load paths and structural integration
- Manufacturing Engineering on production readiness and process improvements
