Are you ready to get the Easygo Edge?

This is an all-rounder accountant role for someone with a sharp eye for detail and a genuine love of figures. You'll work across the full accounting function within a fast-moving tech business, where the detail matters and the numbers carry weight. We're after an experienced, technically strong accountant who works well autonomously and brings considered, data-driven insight rather than simply closing the books.

What you’ll build with us:
This role owns three core functions: accounts receivable, the end-to-end payables process and month end. Day-to-day spans debtor and creditor management, reconciliations, journals and intercompany balances, all while keeping things compliant and accurate. Beyond business as usual, there's the chance to take on projects that drive real operational efficiency and add genuine variety to the work.

We know that innovation ignites when we build and create together, in person. This is a full-time on-site opportunity at our Melbourne office. You’ll work right where it all happens, surrounded by our fearless crew shipping high-impact work.

Who is Easygo?
We’re a high-growth, high-velocity tech company with millions of eyeballs on us every day. We’re building the future of fearless tech.

We’re the creators behind some of the most popular brands including Stake, KICK and Easygo Games. While they command a fierce global following, our crew is employed directly by Easygo and that’s where the real fun happens.

We’re always looking for people who are hungry, humble and move fast. People who are ready to Unify, Disrupt and Evolve with us.

With us you’ll grow faster and go further. Your work has impact. And that gives you an edge you can’t get anywhere else.

The impact you’ll make:

  • Oversee the accounts receivable function, including allocating receipts from bank statements to the debtors' ledger, debtor reconciliation and handling all internal and external enquiries
  • Manage the end-to-end accounts payable function, including recording and paying bills, acting as a key contact for creditors and ensuring compliance with company policy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain asset control procedures
  • Maintain an accurate general ledger, ensuring financial records comply with accepted policies, while investigating variances and proposing corrective actions
  • Manage month-end processes and reporting, including month-end journals, reconciliations and intercompany transactions and balances
  • Collaboration and coordination with overseas entities to support financial reporting, and other finance-related activities
  • Support the annual audit and regulatory compliance
  • Support consolidation and group reporting
  • Provide accounting support to internal and external stakeholders, including tax compliance, budgeting, and data analysis
  • Maintain efficient document management and record keeping

Your track record:

  • Minimum of 4 years' financial and management accounting experience, CPA/CA qualified
  • Prior experience in software development or SaaS industries, accounting, advisory or a comparable role
  • Solid understanding of accounting concepts around asset capitalisation and revenue recognition
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial control
  • A high degree of flexibility and strong prioritisation skills

Bonus points if you also have:

  • Proficiency with Google Suite (Drive, Sheets, Docs), Slack and NetSuite
  • A good communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage several different functions at once
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously as part of a team
  • Integrity and honesty
