Executive Assistant
San Francisco, CA
At Rothy’s, we know there’s a better way to do business, and it starts by putting the planet and its people first. More than 225 million single-use plastic bottles and 715,000 pounds of ocean-bound marine plastic have been transformed into our signature thread, creating wardrobe staples that look just as good as they feel.
Striving for zero waste, we combine 3D knitting technology and handcrafted assembly to create machine washable styles that don’t compromise on comfort. From classic shoes to carry-everywhere bags, we create essentials for wherever you go.
At Rothy’s, building a sustainable future is at the heart of everything we do. We pride ourselves on fostering an inclusive environment at our HQ, retail stores and wholly-owned factory, and are growing our community every day.
About the role:
Rothy's is looking for an experienced and energetic Executive Assistant to support members of our Executive Team. In this role, you'll do more than keep things moving — you'll be a trusted thought partner, helping our executives communicate with clarity, show up prepared, and lead with impact. Do you think three steps ahead, have a positive/can-do attitude, and thrive on gracefully handling multiple demands in a fast-paced environment? Are you collaborative, kind, and curious? If this sounds like you, this might be the right fit!
What you’ll do:
Serve as a strategic thought partner to executives — anticipating needs, connecting the dots across priorities, and helping them operate at their highest level
Own executive communications, including drafting, editing, and managing correspondence that reflects each leader's voice with clarity and intention
Prepare briefing materials, talking points, and context-setting documents to ensure executives are informed and ready for every meeting and moment
Provide strategic administrative and project management support across a broad range of initiatives
Lead complex calendar management and travel planning, balancing competing priorities with good judgment
Prepare domestic and international travel arrangements and detailed itineraries
Meticulously manage expenses on behalf of the executive team
In collaboration with others, plan and execute team meetings, offsites, and other special functions
Partner with internal stakeholders on cross-functional projects, initiatives, and events
Serve as a trusted liaison internally and externally, representing our executives with grace, professionalism, and discretion at all times
You are:
A strategic communicator who understands context and audience, and can translate complex ideas into clear, compelling language on behalf of others
Flexible in terms of responsibilities and responsiveness, with a positive "can-do" spirit
A quick learner with a "knack" for tech, able to figure out new systems and adapt on the go
Independent, able to execute and prioritize with little direction and exercise sound judgment when making time-sensitive decisions
A team player, able to thrive in a team setting with a willingness to help others
A self-starter who knows when to trust your instincts and when to ask for help
A problem solver who can find creative solutions efficiently and proactively
Trustworthy, with impeccable discretion with sensitive company, customer, and personal information
Extremely adaptable to the ever-changing needs of a fast-growing company
You have:
5+ years of experience providing dedicated, high-level support to one or more C-suite executives in a fast-paced startup environment, including complex calendar management and travel planning
A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
High proficiency in Google Apps, particularly Google Calendar and Google Docs
A polished, professional demeanor and a track record of building trust with executives and VIP stakeholders
The ability to juggle competing priorities with composure and good judgment in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
Our benefits:
Generous paid time off
401k matching
Comprehensive health plans for you and your family
Supplemental mental health benefits
Monthly wellness reimbursement
Dog friendly offices
Employee Discount Program!
Pay range:
$120,000 - $145,000 annually
