### Ideal Profile

Experience & Industry Background

  • 4+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer, Systems Engineer, or similar senior technical role
  • Strong experience designing, building, and implementing workflow and process automation solutions
  • Experience working within IT services, managed services, or technical operations environments
  • Demonstrated success improving service desk efficiency and operational workflows through automation
  • Ability to analyse business processes and identify automation opportunities that deliver measurable value
  • Technical Skills & Platforms

    • Hands-on experience with automation and orchestration platforms such as Rewst, Kaseya, or similar technologies
    • Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments
    • Experience working with IT service management and service desk platforms
    • Solid networking fundamentals and troubleshooting capabilities
    • Experience with onboarding and offboarding automation processes is highly desirable
    • Familiarity with MSP toolsets, service delivery platforms, and operational systems is advantageous
    • Process Improvement & Documentation

      • Strong documentation and process design experience
      • Ability to create process maps, workflow documentation, and knowledge base articles
      • Experience developing reusable automation frameworks and operational best practices
      • Strong focus on quality, scalability, and continuous improvement

    ### Responsibilities
  • Design, build, test, and deploy automation workflows (e.g. Rewst, Kaseya) 
  • Identify automation opportunities by reviewing service desk and operational processes 
  • Monitor and maintain automations to ensure performance and continuous improvement 
  • Collaborate with service desk, operations, and leadership to prioritise initiatives 
  • Reduce manual workloads through scalable, efficient solutions 
  • Create and maintain clear documentation (process maps, workflows, KB articles) 
  • Troubleshoot automation issues and provide L2/L3 technical support 
  • Improve onboarding/offboarding processes via automation 
  • Align automation efforts with business and service delivery goals 
  • Provide recommendations to optimise after-hours support and reduce overtime 
  • Deliver outcomes independently while maintaining strong stakeholder communication 
  • Work with internal and offshore/MSP teams to ensure seamless delivery 
  • Contribute to reusable frameworks and automation best practices
