VTS is the only AI-driven technology platform transforming how the commercial real estate industry operates. We are hiring a Marketing Engineer who has two mandates: 1) to build the AI systems and workflows that power our full revenue engine and 2) to create and run demand programs off that foundation create and drive pipeline.

The ideal candidate has the experience of a marketer, the build skills of an engineer, and a deep understanding of how modern B2B sales actually works. You will own and orchestrate the systems and touchpoints that move buyers from first awareness to closed and expanded. You are just as comfortable writing a sequence or developing a persona as you are architecting an agent workflow or wiring up a data pipeline. You know which programs are worth building and which are not, and you do not need someone to tell you what to build next.

You will report to the VP of Marketing but will work across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations, owning the roadmap of what gets built and driving it forward.

This is an individual contributor role with high agency. You will be in the work every day, building, shipping, testing, and iterating. You’ll dive deep into areas like outbound sequencing, content production, competitive intelligence and rebuild them from scratch to be AI-native.

As the Marketing Engineer, you can expect to:

  • Build high-leverage AI systems and agents across the full revenue motion Embed yourself across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to understand how each function works, where the friction is, and what is worth automating. Then build it. Design and deploy AI-powered workflows, agents, and automation infrastructure across the full buyer journey, from awareness and intent capture to outbound, conversion, and expansion. A system is not done until it is adopted, handles edge cases, and is built to our voice and positioning.
  • Own targeting & segmentation Build ICP models, scoring frameworks, and segmentation logic that sharpen how we target, across outbound sequences, marketing emails, paid media audiences, and account-based plays. The goal is precision at scale: the right message, to the right person, at the right moment.
  • Drive growth through experimentation and ownership Own a high-velocity experimentation roadmap across the funnel, including outbound sequences, inbound programs, landing page variants, and segmentation logic. You will build the foundation for repeatable, scalable programs and own your own growth campaigns.
  • Drive channel optimization & speed-to-insight Connect our systems to our execution channels, including email, ads, SDR sequences, and in-product triggers, so that when we learn something (a segment is converting, a message is landing, an account is showing intent), we can act on it within minutes.
  • Govern brand & content in AI workflows As more teammates use AI tools to create assets, including emails, proposals, one-pagers, and ad copy, ensure our brand voice, design standards, and messaging are embedded into those workflows from the start. Build the guardrails so that AI-assisted output is indistinguishable from our best


To thrive in this role you should have:

  • Marketing experience and instincts. You understand personas, buying stages, and what makes messaging actually land. You can write copy, pressure-test a value prop, and know good creative from bad. You likely have been a growth or product marketer and have had ownership of campaigns before.
  • Enough technical fluency to build, not just configure. You have connected tools, automated workflows, and built things other people relied on, and you can show your work. You have worked with LLM APIs beyond the chat interface, integrating them into automations, building prompts for production use, and deploying agents that run without your supervision. You do not need to be a software engineer, but you cannot be stopped by the absence of one. Experience with MCP servers is a plus.
  • An understanding of how modern B2B sales works. You have been close enough to a sales motion to understand what actually moves a deal, how reps research accounts, what makes outreach land, where deals stall, and what good enablement looks like.
  • Proven experience with the modern GTM tool landscape. You have hands-on experience with tools like Clay, Gong, Outreach or Salesloft, Apollo, ZoomInfo, and workflow automation platforms like n8n, Make, or Workato. You know which tools create real leverage and which create noise.
  • An experimental mindset with a bias toward shipping. You treat every problem as a hypothesis. You would rather spend two days building something repeatable than two hours doing it manually, and you know when to ship a fast prototype and when to build for scale.
  • The communication skills to work across teams. You will work with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Solutions and earn trust with all of them. That means being able to sit with a rep, a marketer, and a solutions lead, understand what is slowing them down, synthesize those inputs into something worth building, and then actually ship it and enable the team using it.
  • Strongly Preferred: Background that spans more than one GTM function. You have been close to both marketing and sales, or sales and customer success. You ramp faster and build things that fit how each team actually works.

Pay Transparency

At VTS, we pride ourselves on articulating a clear and transparent philosophy around equitable, impartial compensation that will allow us to recruit and retain an exceptional team. The base salary is market-driven at the time of offer and is based on tier 1 market data. The salary for this role will range between $130,000 and $170,000 and is determined by several factors, including your skills, prior relevant experience, quality of interviews, leveling, and geography.
