About the Role

As a Field Service Engineer (Level 1), you will be a key contributor within the WA-based Service team. The role will require you to perform troubleshooting, diagnosis and apply fixes independently and collaboratively to error diagnosis at customer premises, as per company training and manuals, in accordance with company procedures.

The role ensures that all necessary day to day matters, stakeholder management, risks and compliances are managed in a manner that the organisation achieves its goals and builds a great brand reputation.

Requirements

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepared to, and capable of, fulfilling the Company’s Career Path competencies training and assessment
  • Understanding of networking and concepts of digital printing, printer languages, desktop publishing applications, colour management and ICC based workflows.
  • Possess a mechanical / electrical aptitude, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in equipment service, preferably in the service of Colour Copiers and / or Printers, in a networked environment.
  • Strong technical aptitude, troubleshooting skills and professional approach, as well as a positive attitude in dealing with customers and colleagues, are essential attributes for this role.
  • Corrective Servicing: Analysing, diagnosing and rectifying equipment issues to minimize downtime.
  • Preventative Servicing: Service and maintain installed equipment including scheduled maintenance visits.
  • Installation: Commissioning of equipment installations.

Essential Requirements for this Role:

  • Demonstrated experience a similar role and/or network, IT and technical knowledge/understanding 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Strong customer service skills 
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills  
  • Driver’s License and Working with Children Check
  • Have full working rights in Australia without any restrictions

As per Konica Minolta compliance procedures, the successful candidate will be required to undertake background checks.
