Software Engineer - Ruby on Rails

Devsinc is on the lookout for Software Engineer having 1 years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails (ROR) and React JS related technologies. We are interested in individuals who are proficient with ROR and related frameworks and can collaborate with cross-functional teams seamlessly. The role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in ROR and React or similar web frameworks. Candidates should exhibit a strong sense of personal responsibility and commitment to their work.

Core Responsibilities

1. Working on developing new web applications and enhancing existing ones using Ruby on Rails framework and React JS.
2. Implement clean, efficient, and secure Ruby code based on provided specifications.
3. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality.
4. Write and maintain test cases to ensure robustness, usability, and general reliability of applications. Debug and resolve issues as they arise.
5. Continuously learn and apply best practices in software development, particularly in Ruby on Rails, to improve your skills and quality of your work.
6. Work closely with other developers, designers, and the product team to ensure the applications meet business needs and user requirements.
7. Assist in the documentation of application features, functionality, and guides.
8. Familiarity with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and version control tools i.e., Git.

Requirements

1. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Required Skills

1. Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, HTML, CSS, React and JavaScript. Familiarity with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and version control tools (e.g., Git).
2. At least 1 year of experience working with Ruby on Rails, React JS.
3. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
4. Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
5. Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changes in projects and technologies.
