And we use the understanding this gives us to help our clients grow. Grow their audiences and grow their revenues - both direct to consumer and business to business revenues. Our platforms and services are trusted by over 1000 clients globally, including the English Premier League, Red Bull, UEFA, VISA, the NFL, Nike and Amazon. We are over 1000 people, based out of 15 offices, and we deliver work for sports and entertainment businesses of all shapes and sizes all over the world.
The Opportunity
Two Circles is seeking a Tech BD Director to own and deliver the ANZ Technology revenue target.
This is a revenue-carrying commercial leadership role responsible for turning strong technical capability into consistent, scalable growth across the region.
The successful candidate will strengthen outbound momentum, improve pipeline velocity, elevate pitch quality, and lead the closing of high-value technology engagements across CRM, data, digital products and mobile.
This role replaces an established revenue leader and will be central to shaping the next phase of Technology growth in ANZ.
The Tech BD Lead will:
• Carry and deliver the ANZ Technology revenue target.
• Drive expansion across priority accounts.
• Win high-quality new logos.
• Increase close rates and shorten sales cycles.
• Own qualification discipline and pursuit prioritisation.
• Elevate commercial storytelling and pitch execution.
• Drive growth in Mobile and Digital Product engagements.
• Act as ANZ’s commercial spearhead for Technology.
Core Responsibilities
Revenue Ownership
• Own and deliver the ANZ Technology revenue target.
• Maintain strong commercial discipline in pricing and margin.
• Lead complex deal strategy from qualification through contract signature.
• Drive consistent revenue performance across the region.
Pipeline & Outbound Leadership
• Build structured outbound targeting and engagement plans.
• Ensure robust pipeline visibility and hygiene.
• Drive deliberate progression of qualified opportunities.
• Increase proposal-to-close conversion rates.
Commercial Qualification & Prioritisation
• Own qualification standards and enforce winnability discipline.
• Say no to low-probability or misaligned pursuits.
• Prioritise opportunities in alignment with Technology and ANZ leadership.
• Protect resource allocation against distraction.
Closing & Pitch Excellence
• Lead competitive pursuits with confidence and executive presence.
• Engage at C-suite level across rights holders, venues and brands.
• Craft outcome-led narratives that articulate business value, not features.
• Navigate complex buying committees and commercial negotiations.
Market Leadership
• Maintain deep awareness of the ANZ sports and entertainment landscape.
• Identify where Two Circles should and should not compete.
• Build visible market presence across the sport and technology ecosystem.
• Shape go-to-market positioning based on market intelligence.
Mobile & Digital Growth
• Proactively surface and drive Mobile and App-based opportunities.
• Champion scalable digital product solutions.
• Embed mobile thinking into relevant pursuits.
Leadership & Leverage
• Line manage and develop the BD Insights Analyst.
• Partner with Solution Architects and Engineers to shape commercially competitive proposals.
• Push Marketing to support priority pursuits.
• Collaborate with Client Leaders to unlock expansion opportunities.
