The Opportunity
As LegalVision continues its rapid global expansion - now driven by a powerhouse team of nearly 300 employees - we need to ensure our technology stays at the cutting edge. We are on the hunt for two talented Software Developers to join our dynamic tech hub and help build the next phase of our evolution!
In this role, you’ll take ownership of developing, monitoring, and maintaining the core platforms that power our enterprise-scale operations. This includes our bespoke practice management platform & CRM, client portal, payment gateway, main website, and advanced Business Analytics tools.
We still build and ship with the agility of a startup, but we operate with the impact and resources of an industry leader. To thrive here, you will need strong communication and organisational skills, along with a proven ability to collaborate seamlessly across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You'll be tackling complex, high-impact troubleshooting, so a versatile technical toolkit and a proactive mindset are a must.
Ideally, you will bring at least 1 year of experience in a similar role and a passion for building robust, scalable solutions.
The successful applicant must be based in Sydney, with current work rights in Australia.
Ideal Skills & Knowledge
Languages:
- PHP
- Javascript (Typescript)
- HTML & CSS (Tailwind)
- SQL
Systems/Infrastructure:
- Linux/Unix
- Apache/nginx
- Docker
- Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem (e.g. EC2, S3, RDS, ELB)
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines & Testing
Frameworks/tools:
- Laravel & Eloquent
- Vue.js
- GraphQL
- GitHub
Workflows & Operations:
- Experience with AI-driven development workflows (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini)
- Agile/Scrum methodologies (using Jira)
- Data visualisation / Business intelligence (Tableau)
