About the Team and Mission

The Integrations Squad's mission is to ensure the reliability and evolution of our ecosystem, empowering businesses of all sizes to seamlessly incorporate Trustpilot into their customer feedback workflows and tools. We aim to provide highly reliable and user-friendly integrations for popular platforms, including Shopify, HubSpot, Salesforce, and Meta. You will join a cross-functional team with full ownership of our products and codebase, where you will take part in every step of the development process, from ideation to maintenance. A place where you can grow as an individual, while also having an influence on the direction of projects and technological choices.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work in a cross-functional full ownership team alongside Product, Design, and Data teams where you will take part in every step of the process of building—from ideation and design to architecture, code, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Feature Delivery & Stability: Help with the planning, implementation, and release of new features and internal tools with a focus on stability and reducing the "Mean Time to Resolve."
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot existing software across various platforms, resolving bugs across the stack.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Collaborate in design discussions and decision-making during development, helping to create robust documentation to improve team resilience and future development speed.
  • Technical Contributions: Actively participate in technical discussions, sharing your ideas and collaborating with the team to find effective solutions.
  • Data-Informed Mindset: Expand a data-driven mindset by analyzing, gathering, and aggregating data to support both technical and non-technical decisions.
  • Continuous Growth: Seek support and guidance from senior engineers and your manager to help grow your skills and your career.

Who You Are:

  • Have a Solid Technical Foundation: Bring experience in back-end technologies like Node.js, component-based front-end development using React, and working with databases or data warehouses like DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, and BigQuery.
  • Enjoy Full-Stack Development: Are excited to collaborate across the full web development stack, work directly with external APIs, and utilize TypeScript and JavaScript alongside modern frontend tools like React, SSR, and CSS Modules.
  • Customer-centric: Approach engineering with a solution-oriented mindset and care deeply about understanding and solving the end-user's challenges.
  • Are Open & Collaborative: Bring a friendly and helpful personality, open to giving and receiving feedback in a constructive and respectful way.
  • Want to Grow in the Cloud: Are interested in building expertise in Cloud-based development, specifically with infrastructure like AWS (ECS, Lambda, SNS, SQS, CloudFormation) and Docker to handle serverless architecture, data pipelines, and event-driven systems.
  • Take Pride in Your Work: Are enthusiastic about what you build and look to leave systems and codebases better and more sustainable than you found them.
  • Are a Resilient Problem Solver: Have a strong desire to tackle challenges, exploring all avenues and reaching out to the team for help when needed.
  • Value Inclusion: Truly believe that diversity in teams makes a positive, genuine difference in the products we build.
