Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:

As a Poultry Technical Services Manager, you will lead and oversee nationwide technical services activities while providing expert veterinary support to customers, sales teams, and key industry stakeholders within the poultry sector. You will manage and develop a team of technical professionals, conduct farm visits, deliver technical training and presentations, and support product launches and customer engagement initiatives. The role also involves solving field-related technical issues, strengthening relationships with integrator accounts and large-scale farms, and contributing to strategic business growth through value-driven technical solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all technical services activities within the assigned territory, ensuring alignment with company standards and strategic goals.
  • Contribute actively to the development and execution of the medium- and long-term strategic plans for the poultry segment.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the technical team by setting clear objectives, monitoring performance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Proactively apply technical and veterinary expertise to support business objectives and enhance customer value.
  • Provide expert technical advice and consultancy to customers on poultry health, farm operations, and the optimal use of products and services.
  • Partner closely with the sales team to deliver tailored technical support to customers, particularly integrator accounts and large-scale poultry farms, enhancing trust and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular farm visits to provide on-site technical support, assess field concerns, and recommend preventive and corrective actions.
  • Support the commercial team through product and technical training sessions, seminars, knowledge assessments, and continuous learning initiatives for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with local Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), veterinary consultants, and other key industry stakeholders in coordination with the global technical team.
  • Collaborate in the planning and execution of marketing activities, product launches, and technical presentations throughout the product life cycle.
  • Present technical information and product solutions to customers, partners, and large audiences during seminars, training sessions, and industry events.
  • Identify customer needs related to programs, services, or other commercial opportunities, and propose actionable and value-driven solutions.
  • Provide timely resolution to field-related technical issues by leveraging veterinary expertise, problem-solving capabilities, and knowledge of poultry production systems.
  • Maintain a strong field presence through direct customer engagement, balancing technical consultancy, relationship management, and operational support activities

Requirements

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine with an active veterinary license required.
  • Fluent communication skills in both written and spoken local language, with good command of English.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the poultry industry or species market, with strong hands-on poultry production and field experience required. Experience in swine or ruminant production is considered an advantage.
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing technical teams, with the ability to lead senior or tenured professionals effectively.
  • Strong background in the animal health or veterinary industry, particularly within poultry operations and technical services. Competency in technical matters, veterinary methods, and working within livestock production environments.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within cross-functional and field-based teams.
  • Willingness to conduct extensive field work, including regular farm visits, customer site engagements, and nationwide travel as required.
  • Preferably based in or willing to work within Metro Manila or other strategic locations to support national operations.
  • Flexible and adaptable work approach, with the ability to manage field-based schedules and customer-facing responsibilities.
