Rimkus experts specialise in forensic consulting, dispute resolution and construction management services, solutions for the built environment, and human factors support for the consumer, industrial, and healthcare industries.

Rimkus is expanding its Asia-Pacific operations, and we are recruiting a Quantum Consultant in Perth. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is looking to progress their career within claims consulting and dispute resolution.

The Role

In this role, you will support the team by providing quantum consulting services across various business areas, including dispute resolution, claims, and project advisory services.

Your work will be diverse, ranging from assisting our experts in drafting independent reports to preparing claims for contractors. You will be involved in quantifying values, costs, and damages. Additionally, you will draft sections of expert reports and collaborate with the expert to understand how your contributions fit into the overall independent expert opinion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, law or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working for a construction or engineering contractor or specialist claims consultancy.
  • Experience working on contentious disputes is highly regarded, especially arbitration and/or other formal dispute resolution experience.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft large sections of professional reports.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to a non-technical audience.
  • Analytical thinker and problem solver.
  • High level of attention to detail.
