Engagement Manager / Stream Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Engagement Manager / Stream Lead to drive strategic transformation initiatives within the banking and financial services sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong consulting background, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and proven experience leading complex workstreams across strategy, business transformation, analytics, and commercial optimization programs.

This role requires a highly analytical and client-facing professional capable of engaging with senior executives, managing cross-functional teams, and delivering measurable business outcomes. The position is focused on strategic advisory and transformation rather than traditional IT implementation or operational support.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage strategic workstreams within large-scale banking transformation programs.
• Drive business strategy, operating model transformation, performance improvement, and commercial optimization initiatives.
• Develop executive-level presentations, business cases, strategic recommendations, and transformation roadmaps.
• Engage with senior client stakeholders, including C-suite executives and business leaders, to align objectives and drive decision-making.
• Structure and oversee complex analyses, ensuring data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure timely delivery of project milestones and outcomes.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities across workstreams and proactively manage stakeholder expectations.
• Support business development activities, proposal development, and client relationship management.
• Facilitate workshops, steering committees, and executive governance forums.
• Mentor junior consultants and team members while promoting best practices in project delivery.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 7–12 years of professional experience in management consulting, banking transformation, corporate strategy, or related fields.
• Proven experience leading complex strategic initiatives and workstreams.
• Strong executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and drive strategic decision-making.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders in fast-paced and complex environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and structured thinking skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Banking or Financial Services industry experience.
• Experience with leading consulting firms or strategy consulting practices.
• Exposure to banking transformation, operating model redesign, growth strategy, customer strategy, digital transformation, or commercial optimization initiatives.
• MBA or advanced degree from a reputable institution.
• Experience working with executive committees and board-level stakeholders.
• Riyadh-based candidates are strongly preferred.
• Arabic and English language proficiency is preferred for client-facing engagements.
