We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Security Architect to guide the strategic design, implementation, and governance of security architecture across our enterprise. This senior role ensures that security is embedded into technology decisions, business processes, and long‑term planning. You will collaborate with architects, engineering teams, business stakeholders, and security operations to build a secure, resilient, and scalable technology ecosystem.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain the enterprise security architecture aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Partner with enterprise, solution, and business architects to ensure secure design across all technology domains.
- Lead security risk assessments and threat modeling for new and existing systems.
- Establish and govern security policies, standards, and reference architectures.
- Evaluate emerging security technologies and recommend adoption where beneficial.
- Oversee the design and implementation of enterprise‑wide security controls.
- Provide expert guidance to security, operations, and architecture teams.
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning from a security perspective.
- Communicate security requirements, risks, and strategies effectively to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Here's What You Need:
- 8+ years of information security experience, including 3+ years in security architecture roles.
- Experience designing, architecting, or overseeing SOC and/or NOC environments.
- Experience supporting domains such as: Security Operations, Incident Response, Threat Detection, Security Engineering
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture (TOGAF, Zachman) and security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Experience presenting and supporting clients
- Experience leading and managing teams
Bonus Points if you have:
- Experience with cloud security architecture (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and secure SDLC methodologies.
- Experience implementing Zero Trust architecture.
- Familiarity with AI/ML‑based security capabilities.
- Background in highly regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or government.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, GIAC/SAN, etc.).
Eligibility Requirement:
- Must hold an Active Secret clearance
- Must be a US Citizen Only (No Dual Citizenship, No Green Card Holder)
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
