Currently we are looking for an experienced finance professional to join our Consolidation team.
What you would work on?
- Assist with on-going IFRS implementation.
- Participate in the preparation of group consolidation under IFRS on a quarterly basis.
- Assist with the preparation of the IFRS Annual Report.
- Work on intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, consolidation adjustments, and related checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of consolidated figures.
- Prepare and review reporting packages, consolidation inputs and supporting documentation.
- Cooperate with accounting, reporting, tax, treasury, external consultants, and auditors during closing and consolidation periods.
- Help identify process gaps, propose practical improvements, and contribute to building a more efficient and controlled consolidation process.
- Support the implementation and setup of a new consolidation tool, including testing and data validation.
What makes you a great candidate?
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in group consolidation under IFRS, ideally in a larger or more complex group structure.
- Hands-on experience with consolidated financial statements, consolidation adjustments, intercompany eliminations, and reporting packages.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify inconsistencies, investigate differences, and understand the story behind the numbers.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned areas, and follow tasks through to completion.
- Structured and practical working style, with attention to detail and respect for deadlines.
- Proactive mindset and willingness to build new processes, not only follow existing ones.
- Good communication skills and ability to cooperate with colleagues across finance, accounting, reporting, and other departments
- Experience with the setup of a consolidation tool Tagetik/NDC or similar is an advantage
- Strong Microsoft Excel background including pivot tables, complex formulas, SQL, Power BI.
- Fluent in Czech and English; German or Japanese is an advantage.
