Posted about 7 hours ago
At Dscout, we’re building the most flexible and powerful UX research platform on the market—trusted by the world’s top brands in finance (JP Morgan Chase, Intuit, Charles Schwab, PayPal), healthcare (Aya, Headspace), consumer goods (Keen, Verizon, Target, Northface), and tech (Google, Amazon, Facebook, Meta, Spotify, AirBnB). Our tools help teams deeply understand the humans behind their products, so they can build better ones. We are expanding our smart and driven team and would love for you to join us.
We're looking for an Account Director to join our EMEA team, an individual contributor who will own a blended book of mid-market and enterprise accounts across the UK and Europe. In this role, you'll build trusted partnerships with senior leaders at some of the most innovative companies in the region, driving new business, expanding relationships with existing customers through additional products and services, and ensuring long-term growth through renewals and deep account engagement.
This is more than a sales role, it's an opportunity to shape the way brands connect with their customers, influence strategic roadmaps, and fuel the growth of an industry-leading platform across a high-potential region.
What you'll do
Win new partnerships
- Identify and close new business opportunities with mid-market and enterprise companies across the UK and Europe.
- Engage executives in compelling conversations about how Dscout can unlock deeper understanding of their customers.
- Guide prospects through a consultative sales process that highlights ROI and strategic value.
- Generate your own pipeline through outbound prospecting, strategic relationship-building, and active market engagement.
Expand and retain accounts
- Create account plans to align strategy with your clients' direction and help internal teams support growth and expanded relationships.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with clients, becoming a trusted adviser across multiple teams, functions, and geographies.
- Execute the land-and-expand strategies, close accounts and expand them by selling into additional teams, functions, and use cases.
- Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts by aligning Dscout's capabilities to evolving client needs.
- Partner closely with client stakeholders to co-create strategies that accelerate adoption and impact.
- Retain and deepen newly closed accounts, building trust and demonstrating value from day one.
Secure renewals and drive value
- Own the renewal process by demonstrating business outcomes and ensuring clients see ongoing value.
- Work hand-in-hand with our Renewal Management and Customer Success teams to deliver an outstanding client experience that fuels loyalty and retention.
- Consistently achieve industry-leading renewal rates by advocating for client success.
Lead with insight
- Stay ahead of industry trends and client challenges, positioning Dscout as an essential partner in experience research.
- Share client feedback and market intelligence to shape our product strategy and go-to-market approach.
- Help define and execute our EMEA sales vision, contributing to the growth and success of the entire team.
Show up in the region
- Live in or around London, this role requires regular in-person presence and is not suitable for fully remote candidates or those too far outside of London
- Travel weekly to our London office to collaborate with the sales team and SDR.
- Visit prospects and customers in person across the UK and broader Europe.
- Build real, lasting relationships through consistent face-to-face engagement.
What you bring
- A proven track record (5+ years) of success in both mid-market and enterprise SaaS sales, with experience across new business and existing accounts.
- Expertise in managing complex sales cycles, gaining access to senior executives, and closing multi-stakeholder deals.
- Demonstrated ability to self-source pipeline and consistently hit both pipe generation and quota targets.
- A track record of landing accounts and expanding them, selling into additional teams and growing revenue beyond the initial close.
- Proven ability to retain newly closed accounts and shepherd them through the early stages of the customer relationship.
- A consultative, client-first mindset, able to uncover strategic needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presence.
- An entrepreneurial spirit: self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-moving start-up environment.
- A strong and competitive compensation package with a built-in bonus and equity program.
- An incredible and progressive benefits package (for both you and your dependents) to support work/life balance, including flexible PTO, 15 company holidays, 12 weeks of paid parental leave, 401k match, and much more.
- An education stipend to support your growth & development, and a remote work stipend.
- A company that is open and transparent with our team. You will know what is happening and why it matters.
