Job Summary
The Small Format Digital Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the HP Indigo 7900 digital printing press, with a focus on efficiency and quality control.
What You'll Do...
- Set up and operate small format digital HP Indigo printing press according to specifications
- Monitor the printing process to ensure quality and consistency throughout production runs
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on digital printing equipment
- Adjust color settings and calibration to maintain accurate color representation
- Inspect printed materials for defects or inconsistencies and make necessary adjustments
- Keep accurate records of production runs, material usage, and any issues encountered during the printing process
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
What You'll Bring...
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience operating small format digital printing presses
- Strong understanding of digital printing processes and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret print specifications and technical documents
- Familiarity with color management and quality control procedures
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to digital presses
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
