Overview
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong analytical capabilities, the ability to work hands‑on with data, and the communication skills to translate business needs into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Requirements — Lead discovery, documentation, and clarification of business needs.
- Data Analysis — Explore, validate, and interpret datasets to support program governance and operational decision‑making.
- Visualization & Insights — Build dashboards and analytical outputs using Power BI or Tableau.
- Stakeholder Communication — Present insights clearly to senior leaders and cross‑functional partners.
- Cross‑Functional Alignment — Work with ALM, Practice Management, Legal, Customer Relations, and Back Office teams to ensure consistent understanding of data and processes.
- Domain Interpretation — Apply financial‑services or wealth‑management knowledge to contextualize data and business workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Senior Business Analyst with 8-10+ years of experience in business analytics‑driven roles.
- Strong ability to understand business context and translate it into analytical outputs.
- Ability to “play with data” — explore, cleanse, structure, and derive insights.
- Hands‑on experience with analytics tools.
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries.
- Excellent communication skills with comfort presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Experience in wealth management, institutional trading, financial services or banking.
- Strong analytical mindset and comfort working with complex datasets.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in ALM, Practice Management, or related financial domains.
- Exposure to program governance, data repositories, or multi‑department initiatives.
- Experience working in consulting or client‑facing environments.
