We are looking for a hands-on Shift Engineer to join our Maintenance team. This is a crucial role when it comes to upkeep of the hotel. Our Shift Engineer will be responsible for, responding to guest repair requests, performing maintenance activities on equipment around the hotel.

 

Key Information:

  • Role: Shift Engineer
  • Salary: Upto £24,378 p.a. to 27,851 p.a
  • Hours of work: 35 hrs weekly Can go put to 40

 

Shift Engineer's key responsibility:

  • Perform day-to-day routine and preventative maintenance within the hotel rooms
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to any maintenance calls that arise
  • Assist in the implementation of energy conservation program
  • Execute the preventative maintenance schedule and ensure all equipment and designated areas are maintained to the required standard
  • Keep your technical training knowledge and skills up to date
  • Maintain all tools, equipment, and working areas in good condition

Shift Engineer will have:

  • Good mechanical, electrical, plumbing and engineering knowledge.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Basic understanding of air-conditioning and ventilation / HVAC.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently on any subject of department responsibilities.
  • Fluent English and Excellent grooming standards
