About the Role
Neural Concept is at the intersection of 3D deep learning and industrial engineering, building the tools that help the world's leading manufacturers design better products, faster. We're looking for a Product Manager who has lived the reality of engineering workflows inside large industrial organizations — and who is equally excited about where the industry is going. You understand what it feels like to wait on a simulation, to navigate a multi-year vehicle program, and to work within the constraints of a legacy toolchain. And you've seen — or been part of — what's possible when engineering meets modern AI and software. A formal "PM" title is not required; what matters is proven product thinking, sharp communication, and the humility to deeply understand problems that are different from your own experience. This is a rare role at the intersection of engineering credibility and product craft — and a unique opportunity to shape how AI transforms one of the most consequential domains in the world.
What you will do
Engage deeply with customers — OEM engineering teams, simulation specialists, and program managers — to understand their day-to-day workflows, frustrations, and unmet needs, bringing genuine curiosity and listening skills to every interaction.
Translate customer insight, market signals, and technical feasibility into clear product requirements and prioritized roadmap decisions, in close collaboration with Engineering and the leadership team.
Own the product discovery process: design and run user research, synthesize findings across customer segments, and develop hypotheses that the team can build, test, and iterate on.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Application Engineering, and Marketing to ensure product decisions are grounded in real customer value and commercial viability.
Represent the voice of industrial engineers internally — keeping the product technically credible, practically useful, and commercially sharp.
Track trends in engineering software, advanced simulation, and AI tooling to identify whitespace, emerging use cases, and competitive positioning opportunities.
Who you are
You have 3+ years of real engineering experience inside a large industrial organization — you know what it feels like to work on multi-year programs, navigate complex systems, and live with the constraints of real-world manufacturing or product development.
You've also been exposed to a more modern environment — whether at a fast-moving hardware company, a next-gen engineering software startup, or a tech company embedded in industrial accounts — and you're energized by what AI and software can unlock for engineering teams.
You bring genuine product instincts: you listen more than you talk, you're curious about problems that are different from your own engineering experience, and you know how to bring people along without having formal authority.
You communicate with precision — in writing and in conversation — and you make prioritization decisions with structure and clear reasoning.
You hold a degree in engineering or a related technical discipline; an advanced degree (MSc, PhD) is a plus.
You are fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
We know this combination of skills is rare.
