Compliance Operations Specialist

As a Compliance Operations Specialist, you will execute structured workflows to find, remove, and verify the deletion of member information across these sites. You will work within a purpose-built operations platform that assigns your tasks, provides step-by-step playbook instructions for each broker site, and enforces strict privacy controls on the data you access.
This is a process execution role. You will follow detailed playbooks, use standardized templates for removal requests, and log every action in the task system. You do not need cybersecurity expertise or software development skills. You do need strong attention to detail, reliable English writing ability, comfort navigating web-based tools, and the discipline to follow procedures precisely and consistently. Top performers will have opportunities to advance into QA, team lead, or site monitoring roles as the program scales.
What You Will Do
- Execute search and discovery tasks by navigating data broker websites using member identifiers provided by the task system. Locate matching records, evaluate whether the result is a correct match, capture evidence through screenshots and listing URLs, and flag ambiguous results for team lead review.
- Submit opt-out and removal requests using web forms, email templates, and multi-step browser flows. Follow the Broker Playbook Card for each site, which provides the exact URL, required form fields, standard removal language, and step-by-step instructions. Complete CAPTCHAs and other anti-automation challenges as needed.
- Monitor designated facade email inboxes for verification messages from data brokers. Identify legitimate verification emails, click confirmation links, enter verification codes, or send approved reply text within required deadlines. Distinguish legitimate broker communications from spam or phishing attempts and flag suspicious messages immediately.
- Return to broker sites on a scheduled basis to verify that previously submitted removal requests were completed. Compare current site results against original evidence captured during the initial submission. Document outcomes and flag overdue or incomplete removals for re-submission and escalation.
- For a subset of identity-matched broker sites, prepare and submit formal authorized agent privacy rights requests using pre-built legal templates. The system populates the legal language and member details automatically; you review for accuracy, attach the required authorization document, and send.
- Record every action in the task system with complete and accurate detail: submission method, timestamps, confirmation IDs, screenshots, and any deviations from the standard playbook. Consistent, thorough logging is a core part of every task you complete.
- Report any data exposure, security concern, or process deviation immediately through the incident reporting system. Adhere to all PII handling protocols, including working exclusively through the provisioned browser and VPN, never storing member data locally, and clearing all session data at the end of every shift.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in BPO, data entry, content moderation, compliance operations, or IT help desk is preferred.
- Strong written English skills with attention to grammar, spelling, and professional tone.
- High attention to detail when comparing names, addresses, and profile data.
- Proficient in web navigation, online forms, CAPTCHAs, and browser management.
- Able to follow structured processes and document work accurately.
- Comfortable with repetitive, detail-oriented tasks requiring consistency.
- Reliable with strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with web-based dashboards, ticketing systems, or CRM tools is a plus.
- Experience handling confidential or sensitive information is highly preferred.
