Your new role

As Head of Clinical Services, you are accountable for the quality, safety, and integrity of all psychological services delivered nationally. This is a highly influential leadership role that ensures ethical, evidence‑based practice across EAP and private services, while supporting innovation and growth within safe clinical parameters.

You will provide strategic clinical leadership, oversee governance systems, manage clinical risk, and guide supervision and professional standards across the organisation. You will also act as a trusted clinical advisor in business decisions, client escalations, and service design.

 

As Head of Clinical Services, you will be responsible for the following core areas across national service delivery:

 

Clinical governance & quality

·         Establish and oversee national clinical governance frameworks, policies, and standards

·         Lead the management of clinical risk, critical incidents, complex complaints, and ethical matters

·         Ensure consistent supervision, peer review, audit, and quality assurance nationally

Professional leadership

·         Set clinical practice standards, scope of practice, and utilisation parameters

·         Champion culturally safe, trauma‑informed, and evidence‑based practice

·         Support clinician development, endorsement pathways, and capability building

Compliance & risk management

·         Ensure compliance with AHPRA, Psychology Board of Australia standards, APS Code of Ethics, and privacy legislation

·         Act as senior clinical authority for external and internal stakeholders

Strategic & client support

·         Provide clinical input into tenders, service models, KPIs, and client escalations

·         Translate research and best practice into scalable service delivery models

 

About you

You are a respected senior clinician and leader who brings calm authority, sound judgement, and credibility. You can hold complex clinical risk while working constructively with operational and commercial leaders.

You will bring:

·         Unconditional AHPRA registration as a Psychologist

·         Extensive post‑registration clinical experience, including complex presentations

·         Proven leadership of multi‑site or national clinical services

·         Deep knowledge of clinical governance, ethics, and risk management

·         Strong influencing and communication skills

 

This is a full time, permanent role based in either our Perth or Sydney office.
