Project Short Description

Modern SAP cloud transformation project focused on building and enhancing backend business applications on SAP BTP using ABAP Cloud. The scope includes development of scalable services, RAP-based business objects, CDS data models, OData integrations, background job automation, and secure communication with SAP and third-party systems.

• Communication Scenarios and Communication Arrangements
• Service Consumption Models and OData client proxies
• HTTP client usage in ABAP Cloud
• JSON/XML payload handling
• Application Jobs, Job Catalogs and Job Templates
• Application logging and structured error handling
• DEV-QAS-PROD transport and software component lifecycle

Must-haves

• We are looking for an SAP BTP ABAP Cloud Developer to handle backend development activities in a modern SAP cloud project.
• The role requires hands-on experience with ABAP Cloud, RAP, CDS-based data modelling, OData services, Application Jobs, Communication Arrangements and Service Consumption Models.
• The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, write clean and maintainable code, understand SAP BTP development constraints, and take part in DEV-QAS-PROD delivery lifecycle.
• Experience with Fiori Elements is an advantage, but not necessary.
