Panorama Education is a technology company building the leading platform for student insight and action in K-12. We help modern school systems understand what students need and take effective action. By bringing together academics, attendance, behavior, and engagement data with AI, we give educators the full picture of every student and the intelligence to decide what to do next. As a mission-driven company supporting 15 million students in 2,000 districts nationwide, the work we do has a direct line to student outcomes every day. Join us and help shape what education looks like for the next generation.

Student Success is a core product line within Panorama’s platform for student insight and action. It unifies academic, behavioral, attendance, and engagement data to help districts identify needs, understand root causes, and take coordinated action at scale. By connecting data, intelligence, and workflows, it enables educators to surface early warning signals, prioritize students in need, and deliver consistent, high-quality interventions—moving districts from reactive support to proactive, system-wide impact.

About the Role

As Senior Product Manager, you will lead our Student Success product line, driving end-to-end outcomes (e.g., adoption, retention, impact) and empowering educators to triangulate holistic data, coordinate practices, and scale personalized student experiences that improve student outcomes. You'll own the product line's vision and roadmap and be accountable for delivering exceptional customer and business impact aligned to Panorama's strategic goals. This includes defining what success looks like, how it is measured, and ensuring execution translates into real-world usage and outcomes.

AI is central to how we build and deliver our products, and this role sits at the heart of defining how AI transforms the insight → action experience for educators. You'll help shape how AI-powered features transform the insight-to-action experience for educators, and you'll use AI as a force multiplier in your own work. We're looking for a PM who has built with AI, is excited about what it makes possible, and brings a clear point of view on where it creates real value in EdTech.

In close collaboration with Engineering, Revenue, Client Experience, Design, Research, and Marketing, you'll lead cross-functional strategy and execution to drive initiatives that maximize product performance and keep your team tightly focused on the highest-impact work.

This role reports to the Senior Director of Product.

Responsibilities

Product Vision & Roadmapping: Shape a clear, compelling vision and roadmap for Student Success aligned with Panorama’s strategic goals. Determine where AI-powered capabilities can meaningfully differentiate our product and accelerate student outcomes.

Business Outcome Ownership: Accountable for driving product line performance, in partnership with cross-functional leaders. Identify and activate levers (beyond roadmap) to improve adoption, retention, client satisfaction, and business impact. Drive behavior change—not just feature delivery—to ensure sustained value in customer workflows.

AI-Powered Product Development: Define where intelligent automation creates the most value for educators. Partner with Applied Research & Data Science to ship AI features responsibly, including early warning systems and intervention recommendations. Champion fairness, transparency, and data privacy.

Cross-Product, Platform Approach: Collaborate with other PMs to drive cross-product opportunities and cohesive, platform-level experiences with Student Success at the center.

Impactful Product Execution: Lead your squad to deliver with focus, velocity, and quality, ensuring work ties to clear product and business outcomes. Operate effectively in ambiguity, defining problems before solutions.

Client Engagement & Complex Problem-Solving: Engage clients and internal partners to solve complex challenges, balancing immediate needs with scalable, long-term solutions.

Reporting & Analytics Expertise: Evolve our reporting suite from static dashboards to proactive, intelligent systems that drive action.

Exceptional Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner across Engineering, Design, Research, Client Partnerships, Revenue, and Marketing to develop, launch, and iterate on features. Drive continuous clarity and alignment across stakeholders.

Strong Fluency with Data and KPIs: Define and own key product metrics. Regularly use data and AI tools to evaluate success, validate value, and inform high ROI prioritization.

Requirements

Our Ideal Candidate Has

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in reporting, analytics, or K-12 edtech
  • Proven track record owning product strategy and outcomes (not just outputs) for a major product line, with KPI-driven growth
  • Strong customer empathy and discovery skills, translating needs into scalable product strategies and thoughtfully managing escalations
  • Deep understanding of educator needs and the technical and adaptive challenges districts face (K-12 education/edtech experience a strong plus)
  • Self-starter mindset, skilled at navigating ambiguity, defining problems, driving cross-functional execution autonomously, and communicating clearly and proactively
  • Collaborative spirit, leading and influencing across functions without direct authority
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to make strategic decisions
  • Experience building or shipping AI-powered features and a clear POV on how AI changes product craft
  • Hands-on use of AI tools in day-to-day PM work such as research synthesis, prototyping, and analysis, and genuine excitement about pushing that further
  • Skilled at managing up, aligning stakeholders, and bringing others along; operates with high autonomy while incorporating feedback
