About the Role
At ARX Robotics, you will lead international growth initiatives at the forefront of autonomous defense technology. As Head of International Expansion, you will shape how our systems enter and scale across global markets, build trusted partnerships with defense stakeholders, and help position ARX as a key player in the future of European defense capabilities.
This role combines strategic leadership, market expansion, and hands-on execution. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across engineering, program management, finance, legal, and compliance to turn complex opportunities into long-term partnerships and successful programs.
What You’ll Build
- Define and lead ARX Robotics’ international business development strategy across priority markets and regions
- Drive pipeline growth by identifying and pursuing opportunities across government tenders, multinational defense programs, and emerging markets
- Shape market entry and localization strategies with a strong focus on Europe and NATO-aligned initiatives
- Build trusted relationships with defense ministries, armed forces, OEMs, system integrators, and strategic partners
- Lead capture planning and bid strategies for complex international opportunities, from opportunity shaping to win strategy execution
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to align commercial strategy with technical, operational, legal, and compliance requirements
- Analyze competitive landscapes, geopolitical developments, and procurement environments to guide strategic decisions
- Represent ARX Robotics at international defense events, customer engagements, and industry forums
- Lead and develop a high-performing international business development team focused on collaboration, ownership, and execution
- Contribute directly to the growth and long-term positioning of a fast-scaling European defense technology company
What You Bring
- Experience leading international business development, capture management, or strategic sales within defense, aerospace, or government environments
- Strong understanding of European and international defense procurement processes, acquisition cycles, and regulatory frameworks
- A proven track record of securing complex, high-value international contracts and navigating multi-stakeholder environments
- Confidence building relationships with senior decision-makers across government, industry, and partner organizations
- Strong commercial judgment combined with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational execution
- Experience working across international markets, including cross-border partnerships, consortiums, or joint ventures
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in both English and German
- A collaborative leadership style with the ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams
- Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively across Europe and other strategic markets
