Immigration Law Lawyer (Εσωτερική Αγγελία)

We are currently looking for an Associate Lawyer with expertise in Residency by Investment (‘’Golden Visa”) and in Work Mobility programs, who would like to join our dynamic, motivated and highly skilled team of qualified attorneys.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in immigration law, specifically in the area of both Golden Visa and Work Mobility programs (cross-border employment transfers for third country citizens, white & blue collars, Financially Independent Persons Residence Permits, Digital Nomads Residence Permits, NON-DOM Regime etc.) and will be responsible for providing legal counsel advice and representation to our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will cover a variety of legal issues concerning immigration and investment related legal activities. Amongst others, the following responsibilities apply to this position:

• Conducting consultations with clients (either physical persons or legal entities) to assess either their own or their clients’ eligibility for Golden Visa programs and Work Mobility programs (cross-border employment transfers for third country citizens, white & blue collars, Financially Independent Persons Residence Permits, Digital Nomads Residence Permits, NON-DOM Regime etc.), addressing their concerns, assisting in the legal aspect of the implementation of investment or employment opportunities and providing strategic and procedural advice ensuring compliance with the programs’ requirements
• Preparation and review of visa/permit residency applications, legal documents and supporting materials, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
• Representation of clients in any transactions involved as well as before public authorities and/or banks
• Handling multiple and complex legal issues demonstrating initiative and flexibility - ability to deliver high-quality work within demanding timeframes
• Stay updated on developments in immigration laws and regulations related to Golden Visa programs and Work Mobility programs, and provide legal research and analysis to support client cases
• Client meetings/ conferences
• Maintain consistent and transparent communication with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their cases and addressing any inquiries in a prompt and appropriate manner
• Working effectively as part of a team, as an active member and sharing knowledge and experience with other associates

Requirements

• A Bachelor of Law
• A Master of Laws is desirable
• Qualification as an Attorney-at-Law in Greece
• 5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, preferably in a leading law firm and/or large in-house department
• Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing immigration law, with a focus on Golden Visa and Work Migration programs
• Excellent written communication and drafting skills
• Fluency in the English language, on both levels of oral communication and legal writing skills
• Business acumen with a solution-oriented approach
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
