We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Manager, Contracts & Compliance, to work fully onsite in our Memphis, TN office. This is an excellent opportunity to join and grow EnSafe, getting involved in a variety of projects for a diverse range of clients across the globe.
As a Senior Manager, Contracts & Compliance, you will serve as the primary point of contact for non-federal contractual matters and corporate compliance activities, including contract negotiations and the management of complex administrative and compliance processes across multiple business functions.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all non-federal client contracts, proposals, and projects.
- Manage the full contract lifecycle, including proposal support, negotiation, execution, and closeout.
- Review RFPs, identify risks, and support development of compliant, competitive responses.
- Negotiate contract terms and subcontract agreements to align with company objectives and risk tolerance.
- Maintain and enhance contract templates, standards, and processes.
- Oversee contract intake, workflow prioritization, and performance tracking within the contracts portal.
- Lead corporate compliance activities, including registrations, filings, licenses, and supplier portal requirements.
- Ensure compliance across multiple entities and jurisdictions, including required regulatory reporting.
- Administer corporate insurance programs, renewals, claims tracking, and audit support.
- Monitor subcontractor/vendor insurance compliance and documentation.
- Draft and manage corporate agreements, including NDAs, employment, teaming, and joint venture agreements.
- Maintain litigation tracking and support conflict-of-interest reviews.
- Provide oversight and direction to the Contracts Coordinator, including workload management and mentorship.
- Partner cross-functionally to align contract, risk, compliance, and operational priorities.
- Support office lease administration, including reconciliation of annual CAM expenses.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and risk management.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Minimum Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, or a related field required.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in contract management, legal support, or corporate compliance required (candidates with a Juris Doctor and 5+ years of experience will be considered).
- Deep understanding of contract lifecycle management, negotiation strategies, and RFP processes.
- Experience managing compliance across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring or overseeing junior staff.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Juris Doctor (JD).
- Knowledge of insurance programs, claims management, and risk mitigation practices.
