- Develop solutions with team members involving analytics, visualization, applications and data integration
- Develops automated processes to manage, control and publish large complex data sets using Microsoft Access and Excel and other applications
- Utilize Palantir Foundry for end‑to‑end data integration, pipeline development, and operational analytics
- Support Naval metrology and calibration operations by developing digital twins in Foundry to model calibration systems, manage calibration workflows, and resolve inventory and support issues
- Utilize Agile development practices and tools such as Git, GitHub, or Azure DevOps
- Learn new technologies, tools, frameworks, engineering and technical methods with guidance from senior staff
- Participate in employer-provided training and obtain additional certifications as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education/Training (both required and desired):
- Bachelors Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline preferred
- Additional experience may be substituted for a degree
- Coursework or academic exposure to systems analysis, programming, or model-based systems engineering (MBSE) concepts preferred
- Metrology or aviation maintenance training preferred
Experience:
- 0+ years of professional experience in the required task area with a relevant Bachelors Degree
- 4+ years of professional experience in the required task area with a relevant Associates Degree
- 6+ years of professional experience in the required task area with no degree
- Familiarity with some of the following: HTML 5, Python, Java, TypeScript, React
- Familiarity with some of the following: SQL or other database protocols
- Familiarity with requirements gathering, system documentation, technical analysis, system modeling, agile processes, or integration methods
Security:
- Must be a US citizen
- Ability to obtain a security clearance will be required
Physical Requirements:
- Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
- Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
- Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
- Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time
