Who is Flock?

Every community deserves to be safe, it’s a fundamental right. Our mission is simple - to build technology that reduces crime and protects privacy. Flock partners with cities, businesses, schools, and neighborhoods to help protect where people live, work, and play. Last year, Flock technology supported over 1 million criminal investigations, helped solve approximately 20% of reported crimes in areas where it is deployed, and played a role in locating more than 10,000 missing people.

We are a high-performance team united by urgency, ownership, and a shared commitment to meaningful impact. The work is fast-paced and the expectations are high. We push beyond perceived limits, support each other, and hold ourselves accountable to delivering results that matter.

With over $1B in funding and an $8.3B valuation, we are scaling with intention and investing in the people who will help us build what others said could not be done. At Flock, you will find the opportunity to grow quickly, take on real responsibility, and contribute to something bigger than yourself.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Recruiting Systems & Analytics Lead to own the infrastructure behind how Flock hires. This is a IC position at the intersection of systems, data, and AI, built for someone who wants to architect the operational backbone of a high-performing talent function.

You will own the ATS, build the reporting layer that recruiting leadership actually makes decisions from, and build internal tools and automations that change how the team works. You will operate with significant autonomy, partnering closely with recruiting leadership to identify what is broken, design solutions, and execute without someone handing you a playbook.

If you get genuinely excited about data pipelines, workflow automation, and shipping internal tools that eliminate the manual work slowing your team down, this role was built for you. This role reports directly to the VP of Recruiting.

What You'll Do

  • Recruiting Systems & ATS Ownership: Own the configuration, integrity, and optimization of our ATS (Ashby) and broader recruiting tech stack. You will design and own integrations between Ashby and adjacent systems (HRIS, workforce planning tools, finance systems), working directly with technical stakeholders to define requirements, manage implementation, and maintain data fidelity across platforms. You will be the person other people come to when something needs to be built, fixed, or rethought.

  • Analytics & Reporting: Design and maintain dashboards and reports that give recruiting leadership and company leadership real signal on pipeline health, hiring velocity, quality of hire, and funnel performance. You translate raw data into decisions, not just slides.

  • AI & Automation: Build internal tools and workflow automations that make the recruiting team faster and smarter. You're writing prompts, connecting systems via APIs and webhooks, and shipping solutions.

  • Process Architecture: Identify operational gaps, design scalable solutions, and own them through to execution. You don't wait to be asked, you spot what's inefficient and fix it.

  • Compliance & Data Integrity: Own recruiting compliance operations including audit readiness, and data accuracy across systems. Build the processes that make this repeatable, not reactive.

  • Cross-functional Coordination: Partner with recruiting coordinators, People Ops, and recruiting leadership to ensure seamless handoffs from offer through onboarding. You're the connective tissue that keeps things from falling through the cracks.

The Skillset

  • 4–7 years of experience in a technical operations, systems, or analytics role — ideally in a high-growth tech environment

  • Hands-on experience owning or administering an ATS or comparable SaaS platform, including configuration, data integrity, and user management

  • Strong data skills: you can build a dashboard from scratch, write a clean formula, and tell a story with numbers (Excel, Google Sheets, Looker, or similar BI tools)

  • Demonstrated experience building system integrations using APIs and webhooks — you understand how data moves between platforms and can own that work end to end, including scoping requirements with engineering or SRE teams

  • Hands-on experience building with AI tools — prompt engineering, AI agent workflows, or internal tooling (low-code or coded); you've shipped something real that other people actually use, and you're excited about what's next

  • Ability to manage complex, ambiguous projects independently without a lot of direction

  • Sharp attention to detail and a low tolerance for systems that don't work the way they should

  • Strong cross-functional communication — you can translate technical work for non-technical stakeholders and translate business requirements back into technical solutions
