Posted about 5 hours ago
We’re looking for an amazing School Psychologist (1099) to support K-12 students in a school environment where your expertise is valued and your evenings/weekends are YOURS.
We just celebrated 17 years of care, and we did so as a small, family owned company. Nothing corporate about us! We’re not just filling shifts—we’re building meaningful relationships in our schools and communities across North Carolina.
Let’s be honest… school-based work comes with a few things:
📚 IEP meetings
🖍️ Tiny chairs that weren’t built for adults
☕ Coffee that somehow disappears before lunch
…and students who make every day meaningful, hilarious, and rewarding all at once.
✨ What You’ll Love About This Opportunity:
✔ Flexible scheduling
✔ Competitive 1099 compensation
✔ School hours = evenings, weekends & holidays off 🙌
✔ Supportive administration and therapy teams
✔ Opportunity to make a lasting impact with students
✔ Great work-life balance without burnout
✨ What You’ll Do:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff
- Support students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional success
- Participate in IEP meetings and help develop student support plans
- Be a calm, supportive presence in students’ lives
✨ We’re Looking For Someone Who:
✔ Has a passion for helping students succeed
✔ Is organized and collaborative
✔ Can balance professionalism with compassion
✔ Appreciates a good sense of humor during Spirit Week 😅
Qualifications
- Advanced sixth-year level degree in School Psychology.
- Active or be eligible for a North Carolina professional educator's license in school psychology;
- Must hold and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator's license according to the State of North Carolina requirements.
